According to Radar Online, the TruTV reality show tentatively called Micro Wrestling, will center around the wrestling world of little people.
“He’s the guy who inspires, recruits, trains and mentors them. He’s been involved in every step -- only this time it’s on a smaller scale,” his attorney David Houston tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.
“It will explore the fascinating world of wrestling on the scale of little people,” he adds. “It will show their extraordinary physical capabilities and the true strength of people of that stature.”

MythBusters: Savage and Hyneman detonate truthiness

They've built working crossbows using rolled up newspapers, shot frozen chickens at airplane windshields, and tried to paint a room using dynamite. They say their crowning moment was actually floating a lead balloon, disproving the old cliché. And when their 2011 season debuts Wednesday night in the US, they'll determine whether Mission Impossible–style masks can really bypass security systems.
But we'd rather talk about destruction. MythBusters, with Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, is now in its ninth year, and it's the destruction of everyday objects with high explosives that has become the show's hallmark, the spectacles that stick in most fans' memories.
Messers Hyneman and Savage have blown up a concrete mixer to dislodge solid cement inside, set off a massive explosion to see whether the blast and heat could turn carbon to diamonds, and detonated 1,000 pounds of explosives to test the theory that a shockwave can slow a free-falling unfortunate. Each bang has been bigger than its predecessor, the destruction more total, and the glee – especially Savage's – more palpable.

Not a couple of dummies: MythBusters' Adam Savage (L) and Jamie Hyneman
With a fresh MythBusters season now beginning, the detonations won't be dialed down. They'll get more creative. Among the highlights: could the bomb planted in Hitler's Wolf's Lair hideaway in July 1944 actually have killed the leader of the Third Reich, and changed the course of history?
The detonations – and building lead balloons – are all par for the course on a show that tests the credibility of urban myths, schoolboy folklore, received wisdom, and movie stunts. What some might call "truthiness".
Away from the TV cameras, the bangs also have a more serious side: Hyneman has been working with the US government to devise lightweight armor for US military vehicles in Afghanistan and Iraq, all thanks to his work with materials such as TNT and C4 in the frankly unconventional setting of MythBusters.
"We had a lot of experience in the show dealing with explosives, obviously in ways and situations that are outside the norm. This is very revealing, because when you see something outside the norm you get to see what the boundaries of the phenomenon are," Hyneman tells us.
"I'd looked at those and formed a lot of questions in my head. When I saw the opportunity to do research on a topic, I got very active and applied a lot of what I'd learned on the show."
Hyneman's armor had to be ultra-lightweight so the vehicle doesn't get bogged down, but also capable of standing up the shrapnel and blast damage from a powerful IED while protecting the humans inside the vehicle from the pressure wave accompanying a blas

How to Get Free Glucose Monitors for Diabetes

Tips on getting free glucose monitoring systems for diabetics are discussed. These are mostly for people without insurance, as people with insurance can get them from their doctors.
Difficulty:Moderately EasyInstructions
things you'll need:
Computer access
Prescription (if needed)
1If you have insurance you will need to get a prescription for a glucose monitor and the test strips. Take these and you will be getting a monitor for very little, if any, cost. You can do this as many times as you need to. Also, places like Liberty Medical can get you free supplies with the individual having Medicare. Check around and see what is available in your situation. Sometimes the health department in your city can point you in the right direction.
2If you are one of the millions with diabetes that do not have health insurance, you will see that it is difficult to find supplies that you can afford at all. Strips are notoriously hard to get discounted or free, so I am focusing on monitors. There are plans like the rebate system where you can still get a prescription written and then send it in with a rebate form to get a free monitor. Google "free by rebate glucose monitor" for the list of current companies doing this. These are typically able to be done as frequently as those with insurance.
3Some companies that make the monitors will ship them to you for free. Strips are where they make their money and many companies will give you a monitor so that you will buy their strips. Contour, Breeze, Ultra2 and Ultrasmart are a few of the monitors that you can get via links free on the web. Just Google your monitor and the word free and see what comes up.
4Pharmacies such as Walgreens and CVS (and others, I'm just familiar with these two) will sometimes have coupons where you can get free monitors. Last month I stocked up on five free NovaMax monitors via a coupon that CVS had that made the monitors free. Just wait until this comes and stock up so that you don't need one and have to pay for a monitor.

Japan earthquake today

Tokyo
A magnitude 7.1 earthquake struck off the coast of Japan's Miyagi Prefecture – the region worst affected by the huge March 11 quake and tsunami – at 11:32 p.m. local time on Thursday. Evacuation orders were issued for hundreds of homes along the northeast coastline.

.Tsunami advisories were immediately issued, but were lifted approximately one hour later. The quake is the strongest of the hundreds of aftershocks that have shaken Japan since the magnitude 9.0 temblor on March 11. That earthquake caused a tsunami that destroyed thousands of homes, displaced nearly a half million people, and severely crimped the iconic fishing industry there.
The center of the earthquake was 40 kilometers below the seabed, about 60 miles east of the city of Sendai and about 90 miles from Fukushima, according to Japan's Meteorological Agency.

Tokyo Electric Power Company (Tepco) says that the quake hasn’t caused any further damage to the Daiichi nuclear power plant and that all the workers have been temporarily evacuated from the facilities. There were no injuries reported.
Two out of three external power lines to the Onagawa nuclear power plant, 75 miles northeast of Fukushima and near the epicenter of Thursday's temblor, have been damaged, causing power loss. The plant, operated by Tohoku Electric Power, has been shut down since the March 11 quake and has been relying on external power to cool the reactors. Japan’s Atomic Energy Agency said the two lost power lines were not being used for cooling when tonight’s earthquake hit.
The Oshika Peninsula, on which the Onagawa plant is located, was also the closest part of the main Honshu island of Japan to the March 11 earthquake, which shifted the whole peninsula 27 feet to the southeast and sunk it 7 feet. The March 11 tsunami reached heights of 42.5 feet, just below the base of the nuclear plant.

The Meteorological Agency has said that no increased radiation levels have been detected around the plant.
Electricity blackouts have occurred across the northeast region and some highways have been closed.
The Tohoku, Joetsu, and Nagoya bullet train lines were stopped but were able to restart shortly afterwards. The lines closest to the earthquake had not resumed operations since March 11.

Branson unveils 'flying' sub to plumb ocean depths

Branson unveils 'flying' sub to plumb ocean depths
ShareretweetEmailPrint AFP – Sir Richard Branson (R) and explorer Chris Welsh attend a press conference in Newport Beach, California … by Michael Thurston Michael Thurston – Wed Apr 6, 2:27 am ET
NEWPORT BEACH, California (AFP) – Billionaire Richard Branson unveiled plans to pilot a "flying" mini-submarine down to the furthest depths of the oceans, in his latest record-breaking adventure.
The single-seater Virgin Oceanic craft will try to reach the deepest points in each of the world's five oceans -- in what would be the first such feat -- starting with the deepest of them all, in the western Pacific later this year.
"With space long ago reached by man, and commercial spaceflight tantalizingly close, the last great challenge for humans is to reach and explore the depths of our planet's oceans," said Branson.
"More men have been to the moon than have been down further than 20,000 feet," he told AFP, announcing the Jules Verne, "20,000 Leagues under the Sea"-style project at Newport Harbor, south of Los Angeles.
Branson will share piloting duties with US sailor and explorer Chris Welsh, the chief pilot of the winged, Space Shuttle-shaped submersible, in the five dives planned over the a two-year period.
If plans go well and pressure testing of the mini-sub succeeds, the first will be taken by chief pilot Welsh into the Mariana Trench in the Pacific, which goes down to 36,201 feet (11,033 meters), later in 2011.
Branson, back-up pilot on the first trip, will then pilot the red, white and blue sub to the Atlantic's Puerto Rico trench -- helpfully close to his Necker island home -- which has never been explored before at 28,232 feet (8,605 m).
If successful in reaching the bottom of the Mariana Trench, it would be following in the wake of the US Navy's lumbering bathyscaphe "Trieste," which got there on January 23, 1960. No one has been back since.
The comparatively tiny Virgin sub can "fly" with a "completely unique flying wing" for up to 10 kilometers (six miles) at the bottom of the ocean, and operate autonomously for up to 24 hours, while filming never-seen marine life.
Welsh said the potential risks of the adventure are enormous: to withstand pressures of up to 1,000 times normal atmospheric pressure, the craft is made from 8,000 pounds of carbon fibre and titanium, with a quartz viewing dome.
"No leak is tolerable. A leak would cut through stainless steel or human flesh and mean certain death," he said. "The depth is beyond the capabilities of any other craft, so rescue is impossible.
"It's like being on the dark side of the moon," he added.
Branson -- who has coined the term "aquanauts" for those who go below 20,000 feet -- was sanguine about the dangers.
"It's very important if you do adventures that you do think about the worst eventualities that can happen," he said, saying these included the pressurization system going wrong.
While his deep-sea project is initially in a single-seater craft, he made clear he saw it going the same way as Virgin Galactic, which started small before planning to offer an eight-seater space craft.
"At Virgin we believe that there are thousands of people who'd like to explore the oceans, and become aquanauts," he said.
The project has a serious scientific aim, Branson stressed, noting that partners include the renowned Scripps Institution of Oceanography which will be among its key science advisors.
"From a scientific point of view, this is akin to discovering the Amazon for the first time. The amount that they're going to discover down there is incalculable.
Sixty-year-old Branson, who hopes the submarine project will break up to 30 Guinness World records, is well known for his past adventures, including trying to circumnavigate the globe in a balloon.
After starting in the music industry, Branson launched an airline and has since branched into a huge range of businesses, some groundbreaking: his Virgin Galactic project is on track to offer commercial space travel by early 2012.
The Oceanic submarine was originally commissioned by Steve Fossett, Branson's former adventurer partner, who died in a mysterious plane crash in California in 2007.
"It will be very much in his honor and memory that we'll make the dives," Branson said, adding: "We intend to finish what my friend started."
